This year will be the 10th year this site has been up and running. How 'bout that? I'm slowly trying to drag the code for this site into the noughties. Wish me luck. In the meantime, Richard and Fontaine talk about Versus and the new album on ABC news Amplified - http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=9532030.

15th Jun 2008
I'm probably a bit late with this, but Versus open for Swedish band Love Is All at the Bowery Ballroom, June 16th. The real intersting news is that it'll be a 3-piece Versus - Richard, Ed and Fontaine. They've been writing and rehearsing for the last few months, so this gig could be a bit of an eye-opener. James and Patrick are still in the frame, but as I'm sure most of you know, are working hard on the new +/- opus.

16th Dec 2007
More video's from the Maxwells show avaialble, see the home page for details.

9th Dec 2007
Photos from the show at Maxwell's on the 4th. Also a couple here on Flickr.

14th Nov 2007
Versus play surprise private show in Brooklyn!. Details here.

14th Apr 2007
+/- head out for their first European shows in May, covering Germany, Holland and Austria. Full details of course on the +/- shows page. Will they reach the UK ? Gotta say it looks unlikely, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Some of you will have no doubt seen on their myspace page that Whysall Lane are no more, at least not as we've come to know them over the last two or three years. Mikel left the band late last year, and Richard is apparently moving back to New York (which itself could prove to be interesting...).

19th Aug 2006
+/- Let's Build A Fire is penciled in for an October 24 US release on Absolutely Kosher records. AK are already taking pre-orders, you can find out more round about here. According to Pitchfork magazine, things have been rearranged and remixed, not to mention properly mastered.

+/- now have a YouTube profile, where you can catch all of their videos, at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=plusminusband.
