In the meantime, Happy Holidays to everyone !

Seems that Blackball Records will be releasing the
long-awaited Whysall Lane album, tentatively scheduled for Feb / Mar 2006 - you can see some possible artwork for it over on their site. Also, Whysall Lane have
set themselves up on MySpace.com - go pay them a visit round about
here, check out some pictures and 3 tracks currently being streamed. My
thanks to Bret Anderson for the heads-up.

Andy Eason sent me some great photos of Versus, +/- and TFT from TB20 - you can find them
here. There are some more to be found on

Check out a
Washington City Paper review of TB 20 while you can, and keep an eye on
Bradleys Almanac for TFT, +/- & Versus TB20 MP3s.
+/- head to Austin TX for the South-By-South-West Festival later this month.

Word has it that Versus played the whole of The Stars Are Insane from start to finish for their TB20 appearance -
more when I get it (and thanks Andy Eason).

Some news from James - Fontaine and Richard were indeed working on a new Versus cut over the holiday break and it's *possible* it may
appear in the Teenbeat set. The forthcoming Whysall Lane album is "days from completion", with James mixing and co-producing. Richard has
also revealed that he'd like to make another Versus record....
Brad Lehman pointed me to the Urban Jetset web site, where Fontaine, Andy Cheung and Chris Deaner are interviewed. Fontaine gives a very definitive answer about the status of Versus too. There's also a cool piece on Teenbeat that's worth a read.
24th Jan 2005
Well, a Happy New Year to you all! Not much to report I'm afraid, although I did see on the Enchante Records web-site that
Fontaine had mentioned Versus were "writing a new song this week". Mmmm.... Anybody going to the Teenbeat shows could let me have
some photos ? Please get in touch if you can. Thanks !
